This policy explains what personal data Ma Pi Leng Pass, Dong Van Commune, Tuyen Quang Province, Vietnam (“we”), collects through mapilengpass.com and WhatsApp, why, and how long we keep it. Contact: [email protected].
1. What we collect
When you book or enquire: your name, email address, WhatsApp number, travel date, number of guests and children’s ages, pickup hotel, and anything you tell us about diet, mobility or interests. For the border-area permit we also need the passport details of each foreign traveller.
Payments by card or PayPal are processed by the payment provider; we never see or store full card numbers. The same card or PayPal account is used whether you pay in full or pay the 30% deposit.
2. Why we use it
To confirm and run your tour, arrange the permit and hotel rooms, send your pickup time and guide details, take payment, answer your questions, and keep the accounting records the law requires. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
3. Who we share it with
Only what each party needs: our licensed partner operator, your driver and guide receive your name, group size, pickup hotel, itinerary and special requests; if you pay the balance in cash, your guide is told the amount still due. Passport details go to our partner operator and the provincial immigration authority solely to issue the border-area permit. Hotels on the route receive the names needed for check-in and registration, as Vietnamese law requires. Payment providers process your payment.
4. How long we keep it

5. Website and cookies
The site runs on WordPress with WooCommerce and is hosted with a commercial web host. We do not use analytics or advertising pixels. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them. Details are in our Cookie Policy.
6. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of anything we are not legally required to keep, and you can object to any use you did not expect. Write to [email protected]; we reply within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
